Pet Food Experts is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Denver, PA to deliver pet food and supplies to independent retailers. Home weekends with some weeknights, typical routes span PA, NJ, MD, DE, WV, VA and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL A license.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Lift gate experience a plus.
• Must lift up to 40 lbs. and re-enter vehicle repeatedly.
• No DUI/DWIs or drug/alcohol violations in last 5 years.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Hiring Radius: live within 40 miles of Denver, PA or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pet food and supplies to independent retailers.
• Home time: weekends and some weeknights; Monday–Friday schedule.
• Drive routes covering PA/NJ/MD/DE/WV/VA and beyond; average ~400 miles and 15 stops per route.
• Operate with lift gate, pallet jack, or hand jack for unloading.

Pet Food Experts is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Denver, PA. Drivers will be delivering pet food & supplies to independent retailers. Compensation

• Annual pay range: $75,000 - $90,000
• Hourly pay rate: $30
• Average hours weekly: 50
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Additional pay:
• NYC route pay: $100
• Overnight pay: $100
• Per diem pay
• Bonuses:
• $5,000 Sign-on bonus
• $4,000 Driver referral bonus
• Safe-driving bonus of up to $3,200 per year
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home every weekend & home some nights during the week
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• 1-2 overnight routes per week where driver will be staying in an approved, paid hotel room
• Shift: Start times vary by route, generally between 3:00 - 7:00 am
• Route: Delivery area spans PA, NJ, MD, DE, WV, VA — as far west as Columbus and Cleveland, and up to Rochester, Buffalo, and all 4 NYC boroughs
• Average 400 miles and 15 stops per route
• Level of Touch: Drivers will be unloading pet food & supplies using a lift gate & electric pallet jack or hand jack

Equipment

• Freightliner, Volvo, Hino, and International trucks
• All trucks have lift gate
• Automatic & manual transmission
• ELD equipped using Omnitracs system
• Outward & inward facing cameras

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
