Job summary

American Trucking Group USA, LLC is hiring regional truck drivers for no-touch automotive freight operating mainly east of I-35. Expect 2,500–3,000 miles per week on regional lanes with 90% drop-and-hook freight and 100% no-touch operations.

Earn $1,300 to $1,550 per week with a monthly safety bonus up to $750. Typical home time is 7–10 days out with a 34–48 hour reset at home. Orientation is online and trucks are Peterbilt 579s with inverters and refrigerators.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A is required.
• Current DOT medical card.
• At least 3 months of experience within the last 12 months or 1 year within the last 3 years.
• Experience operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.

Responsibilities

• Operate Peterbilt 579 tractors on regional automotive freight lanes.
• Complete online orientation and adhere to safety and DOT regulations.
• Maintain equipment and comply with company policies.

Regional freight coverage and continuous freight movement help keep drivers running throughout the week. Automotive freight moves through established lanes with a high percentage of drop-and-hook loads, allowing drivers to spend more time on the road and less time waiting.

Freight, Routes & Miles

• 100% no-touch automotive freight
• Approximately 90% drop-and-hook freight
• Average length of haul is around 500 miles
• Drivers typically run 2,500-3,000 miles per week

Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 while hauling automotive freight through established regional lanes and customer locations.

Pay

Drivers earn $1,300 to $1,550 per week, with an additional monthly safety bonus of up to $750.

Home Time

Drivers typically stay out 7-10 days followed by a 34-48 hour reset at home. We work with drivers whenever possible when home time needs arise.

Equipment

• Drivers operate primarily Peterbilt 579 tractors along with other well-maintained equipment.
• Trucks are equipped with inverters and refrigerators.
• Assigned equipment may be taken home during home time.

Orientation

Orientation is completed online, and DOT physicals are scheduled close to home whenever possible. Transportation to pick up your truck is provided after onboarding.
