Job summary

HWY Express is seeking CDL-A truck drivers for regional runs based in Salt Lake City, UT. Expect 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop-and-hook, weekly earnings of $1,475 to $1,575, and home time every 7–10 days with a 34–48 hour reset.

Trucks are Peterbilt 579, 2019 or newer, equipped for comfort. Online orientation is provided; travel accommodations and a road test location support are included. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL with at least 3 months of recent experience within the last three years and a valid DOT medical physical.

Responsibilities

• Haul no-touch dry van freight as described (90% drop and hook).
• Operate Peterbilt 579 trucks (2019 or newer) safely and in compliance with DOT.
• Provide reliable weekly pay and maintain routine home time as stated.

CDL-A Driver Position Overview

• Weekly pay ranging from $1,475 to $1,575
• Home every 7–10 days with a 34–48 hour reset
• 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop and hook
• Pet and rider policy available

Drivers are paid CPM plus a monthly performance bonus while hauling no-touch dry van freight. With 90% of loads being drop and hook, the freight setup limits driver handling and helps keep time on the road focused on driving.

Equipment

Our drivers operate Peterbilt 579 trucks from 2019 or newer. Each truck is equipped with:

• 1500-watt inverters and refrigerators for added comfort and convenience
• Automatic transmission for ease of operation

Online orientation helps streamline the onboarding process. A rental car and hotel room are provided for travel to the road test location, and physicals can be completed locally for added convenience.
