Job summary

HWY Express in Charlotte, NC is seeking CDL-A drivers for a full-time regional position hauling no-touch General Freight with steady mileage opportunities. Home every other weekend and a 48-hour reset are provided on a regular basis.

You will drive late-model Freightliner/Kenworth tractors, benefit from a weekly pay structure ($1,450–$1,850 per week) and loading is performed by customers. Medical/dental/vision after 30 days, plus a 401(k) with 4% match after 6 months are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CDL-A license.
• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 36 months; local or regional experience qualifies.

• Loading and unloading are handled by the customer.

Dry van freight stability and consistent route coverage provide CDL-A truck drivers with steady opportunities to earn $1,450–$1,850 per week while hauling no-touch freight across an established operating area.

This full-time regional position with HWY Express gives drivers scheduled home time, late-model equipment, and freight that keeps loading and unloading responsibilities off the driver.

Pay & Home Time

Drivers have a clear weekly pay range along with regularly planned home time.

• $1,450–$1,850 per week with CPM-based pay and direct deposit
• Home every other weekend for a complete 48-hour reset

The schedule allows drivers to maintain consistent time on the road while having regular resets built into the position.

Freight & Routes

The primary running area is east of I-35 with no NYC routes. Occasional freight may extend throughout all 48 states, adding broader mileage opportunities when freight demand requires it.
