Job summary

Gold Star Foods in Richmond, VA is hiring Class A route drivers for local deliveries to K-12 schools. You’ll operate modern Peterbilt/Freightliner trucks with lift gates, pallet jacks, and dollies, performing pre- and post-trip inspections to keep safety high.

The role is full-time with early start times and 45–55 hours per week. A valid Class A license, DOT medical certificate, and clean driving record are required; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Driver's License.
• DOT Medical Certificate is required.
• 10-year Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Proficiency in driving a manual transmission.
• TWIC card a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

Position Details

• Starting Pay rate: $26.50/hour with potential to move to $27.00/hour after 90 days
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: 3410 Norfolk St, Richmond, VA 23230

Job Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries to K-12 schools in Richmond, VA

Work Schedule
