Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a Regional CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver essential food products to chain restaurants. You'll build strong relationships while operating regional routes and spend 1-2 nights away from home each week.

This role requires a Class A CDL license, the ability to unload heavy cases, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Enjoy a guaranteed minimum weekly pay and benefits from day one!

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and standards.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers while delivering food products.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Complete night shifts with 1 or 2 overnights required weekly.

Job Overview

Do you have a passion for driving and customer service? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position you will build relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to regional chain restaurants. Night shifts and regional routes mean you'll be home most nights, with 1 or 2 overnights required each week. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply.

Pay

Drivers average $75,000 - $85,000/year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1,250/week
• Daily base pay, plus component bay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Schedule

4-day work week with overnights

• Monday-Friday. Start times will vary
• One and two-day routes
• Overnights are spent in a hotel paid for by GFS

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
