Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CDL A Reefer Hazmat Driver to support refrigerated transport for pipeline rehabilitation projects. The role involves driving heavy vehicles and assisting crews with on-site tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have Hazmat endorsement, 2+ years CDL experience, and willingness to travel. The position is full-time with a strong benefits package and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with Hazmat endorsement is required.
• 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical and license check.
• Ability to work overtime and out of town.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport refrigerated freight under proper conditions.
• Monitor freight throughout the trip.
• Load and unload trailer with or without assistance.
• Record hours of service via electronic log.
• Maintain vehicle interior and equipment in clean condition.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report damages.
• Communicate any accidents or incidents immediately.
