Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver III to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across a multi-state regional footprint, blending regional and long-haul work. You will operate dry vans, walking floor, and CO2 trailers, with a strong emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

This role offers a demanding schedule with extended trips, variable start times, and no guaranteed weekly home time. A valid CDL A, tanker/Hazmat endorsements, 3+ years of driving, and a clean record are required, with

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A required.
• Tanker endorsement required and Hazmat.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience ideally with tanker or specialized equipment.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely over regional and long-distance routes in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials across a multi-state operating footprint based on dispatch and customer requirements.
• Reposition empty trailers to customer loading locations and transport loaded trailers back to designated processing and disposal facilities.
• Perform primarily drop-and-hook operations with occasional loading and unloading using pumps, hoses, and other specialized equipment.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate transportation documentation including manifests, bills of lading, logs, and inspection reports.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, issues, and schedule changes.
• Adapt to changing routes, dispatch assignments, and business demands while maintaining service commitments.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service at all times.
