Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring new CDL-A holders for refrigerated freight in the Southeast and Ohio Valley. You'll start with a paid mentor before running solo, with weekly direct deposit and a clear path to solo earnings.

Early pay during training, guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months solo, and about $1,200 per week once solo, plus about 2,100 miles weekly. Expect home every two weeks after training.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older.
• New CDL grad with 120+ hours or 6 months of recent experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive refrigerated freight in the Southeast and Ohio Valley.

Refrigerated freight moves year-round, which means steady miles for you. New CDL-A holders start with a paid mentor before running solo.

The money

• Paid every week during training

Reefer lanes across the Southeast and Ohio Valley. Live loads and live unloads. Out about two weeks, then home.

New CDL? Here is the path

• Call: we check your license and record with you first. No surprises later.
• Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, bus fare reimbursed, $300 once hired.
• Training: 4 to 6 weeks one-on-one with a mentor, paid every week.
• Solo: your own assigned truck, fleet average about 1.5 years old. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.

Nervous about your first driving job? Fair.

• "How often will I see home?" Every two weeks.
• "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone.
• "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
• "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
• "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo.
