Job summary

MCG Tran is seeking a regional truck driver to manage port-to-customer deliveries in Southern California, focusing on pulling containers from the LA/Long Beach ports and delivering to customers with drop/hook and live unload at receivers.

When port work slows, drivers will handle LTL and intermodal freight, with occasional pallet jack offloads. TWIC is required at schedule and Hazmat is required within 60 days of hire.

• Hazmat required within 60 days of hire.
• Driver is required to run LTL and Intermodal freight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull containers from LA/Long Beach ports and BNSF rails and deliver to customers in Southern California.
• Perform drop/hook and live unload at receivers.
• Port work is the main focus and drivers must be willing to run in and out of ports daily.
• When port work slows, handle LTL and intermodal freight, including occasional pallet jack offloads.
