Job summary

Norbet-Trucking is seeking an experienced CDL-A Owner Operator to run a tractor-trailer with steady loads and competitive rates. You\'ll load and secure freight, maintain logs, coordinate with dispatch, and comply with DOT regulations while delivering to regional or local customers. Layovers may occur; weekends are off.

Prior flatbed experience and a clean driving record are required. Responsibilities include loading, securing, and inspecting equipment, working with dispatch, and reading bills

Qualifications

• Minimum three years operating flatbed.
• Driving record must be three years traffic accident and violation free.
• Experience hauling steel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure freight to prevent movement.
• Assist in loading and unloading as required.
• Layover may occur 1–2 nights during the week; no weekends.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with dispatch for delivery assignments and road service.
• Read bill of lading to determine the schedule.
• Report incidents promptly per DOT procedures.
