Job summary

Universal Logistics is hiring owner-operators in the Baltimore area to plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and provide reliable service.

This role offers home nightly with occasional 2-day OTR, 50-hour weeks, 4am-8am start times, and a Top Percentage pay structure with access to fuel discounts and plate/insurance programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of tractor trailer experience.
• Valid CDL Class A required.
• Must obtain TWIC & Hazmat within 60 days from start date.
• Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and other expenses.
