Smith Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A OTR drivers for consistent freight and flexible scheduling options.

Whether you prefer weekends home or longer runs with higher earning potential, Smith gives you the freedom to choose the schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Annual gross pay ranges from $55,000 to $85,000 with pay options: 0.55 CPM – Home weekends (48 hours), 0.60 CPM – Weekday home time, 0.65 CPM – 12 days on / 48 hours home on weekdays; per diem pay and full benefits also offered.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Minimum 6 months recent CDL-A OTR experience.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass DOT with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Haul direct customer freight with no broker loads.
• Operate in options including weekends home or longer runs for higher earnings.
• Maintain safety and comply with DOT regulations.

Fuel Requirements

• Age 21+
• Valid Class A CDL

• Any candidate who has violated the Department of Transportation’s drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.
