Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Lancaster, USA, is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for regional and OTR deliveries. The role focuses on safe, timely, and accurate transportation of freight with multi-stop routing within a defined geography.

You will handle pickup and delivery, manage documentation, and represent DSV professionally at customer sites. The position requires 2+ years of CDL A experience, DOT compliance, and strong load securement skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years (3+ years preferred).
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41).
• No positive drug or alcohol test results in the past five (5) yrs.
• No accident involving bodily injury within the last three (3) yrs.
• Experience in local P&D operations, multi-stop routing, and urban driving environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off-duty runs of up to one week or more.
• Backs trailers to customer dock.
• Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior.
• Communicates with customer representatives in pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner.
• Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
• Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing.
• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
• Ensure that any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
