Yuma Class A drivers: 11 western states, home every two weeks, and a paid seat for new grads.

Run the western states on a route that keeps you near home, usually two days out at a time. New CDL-A holders train with a paid mentor first, then go solo at full pay.

What you'll earn

• $1,000 to $1,300 a week, about $52,000 to $67,600 a year
• Line-haul mileage pay scale
• 1,700 to 2,100 miles a week
• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Your week

OTR lanes across the 11 western states, a mix of drop-and-hook and live freight. Home every two weeks, planned loads, day and night dispatch.

New grad path

• 120 CDL-school hours qualifies you

Your truck

Assigned late-model automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, 24/7 dispatch.

What you need
