Job summary

Hulcher Services is seeking an Assistant Division Manager Trainee with a Class A CDL and heavy equipment experience to advance into operations leadership. This full-time role involves working with Division leadership, guiding field crews, and building skills in budgeting, planning, and scheduling.

Travel up to 75% supports diverse project deployments and real-time emergency response. You will develop leadership capabilities within a nationwide railroad derailment and industrial services leader,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
• One year of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Experience in leadership, supervision, or as a crew lead is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising field crews during railroad, industrial, and emergency response operations.
• Lead crews safely at job sites and within the division facility.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Assign daily work activities and monitor crew productivity.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees through hands-on leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Help ensure equipment and facilities remain operational and ready for deployment.
• Partner with Division leadership to meet customer schedules and operational objectives.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
• Learn budgeting, planning, scheduling, and overall division management responsibilities.
