EmergencyMD is seeking a Regional CDL-A Truck Driver in Charlotte, NC. This position offers an average pay of $1,350–$1,500 weekly with a structured 12-day regional schedule ensuring dependable home time.
Drivers will operate modern Freightliner and Kenworth trucks, handling no-touch freight across established regional lanes. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of three months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Simple regional freight and clean scheduling keep drivers moving consistently without constant changes in routes or last‑minute dispatch confusion. CDL‑A truck drivers in this fleet run established regional lanes with steady miles, planned reloads, and dependable home time every other weekend. The operation is built for drivers who prefer organized dispatch planning, repeatable schedules, and straightforward freight movement throughout the week.
Drivers run multi‑state regional freight with a strong mix of drop‑and‑hook loads and limited live unload freight depending on the customer. Loads are planned in advance to help reduce downtime and maintain steady weekly movement throughout each dispatch cycle. The no‑touch setup allows drivers to stay focused on driving instead of extended dock time or frequent freight handling.
Drivers operate on a structured 12‑day schedule followed by a full 48‑hour reset every other weekend. The schedule is designed to provide consistent home time while maintaining dependable weekly mileage across regional lanes. Dispatch planning helps keep routes organized from one trip to the next while reducing unnecessary downtime between assignments.
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV/microwave mounts. Trucks are maintained regularly through preventive maintenance scheduling to help reduce breakdowns and keep drivers moving efficiently throughout the week.
Drivers average $1,350–$1,500 weekly based on miles and experience. Additional detention compensation is available during qualifying delays. Weekly pay is processed consistently, and drivers become eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k) benefits after 6 months with the company.
Rider and pet programs are available after approval. Drivers may take assigned trucks home during resets where safe parking is available or use approved parking locations when needed. Dispatch and maintenance teams remain available throughout each trip to assist with load planning, routing support, and equipment coordination.
