Schneider National is seeking an experienced intermodal driver to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. The role offers 100% no-touch freight with the majority being drop-and-hook, primarily within a 200-mile radius of Kansas City, KS.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, with tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement strongly preferred, and a minimum of 3 months driving experience. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Pay and bonus potential

• Pay recently increased by up to $.02 per mile.
• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 40 miles of Kansas City, KS.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
