C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lowboy Truck Driver to join our local Florida operations.

You will load heavy equipment onto a lowboy, secure it, haul to job sites, and unload safely while following DOT regulations. A pre-trip inspection and precise trip tickets are essential to keep our fleet compliant. Applicants should have at least 2 years of verifiable experience, a valid Florida CDL Class A, familiarity with FMCSR, and a current medical card.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' verifiable work experience required
• Must have a valid Florida CDL Driver's license - Class A
• Must be familiar with FMCSR
• Must have a current medical card
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

• Load heavy equipment onto lowboy and secure cargo
• Haul equipment and unload at job sites safely and efficiently
• Perform a pre-trip inspection
• Report any problems or malfunctions
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations and complete paperwork timely
• Complete a trip ticket for each move and keep receipts
