US Foods in Norwich, CT is seeking a CDL A Logistics Driver to safely deliver products to customers and unload 100% touch freight. The role requires navigating multi-temperature environments and back-in docks, with overnight trips up to five days per week.

Starting pay is $35.76 per hour with weekly pay and benefits on day one. Applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid CDL A with endorsements, and meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements. Evening shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience, food/beverage delivery preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and follow DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Safe driving: deliver products to customers safely and on time.
• Unloading: 100% touch freight using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand.
• Delivery verification: obtain customer signatures and verify deliveries.
• Customer service: provide professional service to enhance the customer experience.
• Equipment inspection: pre- and post-trip inspections for safety compliance.
• Account management: handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: perform all other duties as assigned by management.
