Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking a reliable CDL-A driver for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. Work is home daily with consistent schedules and a union position through Teamsters Local 299. First shift runs 5 am to 2:30 pm, with 8–9 hour days and OT after 40 hours.

Responsibilities include safe transport between terminal and customer locations, pre-/post-trip inspections, and maintaining DOT compliance. Valid CDL-A, clean driving record, and 21+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials between terminal and customer locations.
• Follow delivery schedules based on customer production needs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
