Job summary

Universal Dedicated of Detroit, part of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is seeking CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes in Detroit, MI. Home daily with 8–9 hour days, OT after 40 hours. Union position (Teamsters Local 299) with regular route bidding and steady freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record with strong safety history.
• Ability to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials between terminals and customer locations.
• Follow delivery schedules based on production needs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance at all times.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations teams.
