Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Local Shuttle Driver (Class-A) in Fredericksburg, VA. You will deliver within a 50-mile radius using a 26ft box truck, maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, docking, and close collaboration with dispatch. You must meet DOT rules, keep detailed records, and provide excellent customer service. A CDL-A license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A License required.
• Minimum 2 years CDL A driving experience in the last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with load securement, route planning, and navigation of various road conditions.
• Exceptional customer service and careful handling of sensitive cargo.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26’ box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and the DOT.
• Load and unload cargo accurately using pallet jacks where needed.
• Back truck to customer dock and ensure cargo is secured and balanced.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State safety regulations; drive professionally.
• Communicate with customer representatives and coordinate with dispatchers.
