Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics invites an experienced Local Shuttle Driver to join our Pittston, PA operations. You will perform deliveries within a 50-mile radius using a 26ft box truck, ensuring safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

We offer competitive pay starting at $23.00–$26.00 per hour plus a $2.00/hour overnight shift differential, with comprehensive benefits, paid orientation, and opportunities for career growth in a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required and must be current.
• At least 2 years CDL A experience within the last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Meet DOT qualification requirements per FMCSR 391.41.
• Experience with load securement and route/navigation is expected.
• Strong customer service skills and care handling sensitive cargo.
• Attention to detail is essential in daily operations.
• TWIC card or eligibility to obtain TWIC within 90 days, if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26’ box truck safely and in compliance with DOT.
• Load and unload cargo accurately, using pallet jack when needed.
• Back truck to customer dock, ensuring proper positioning.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and professional driving.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and follow directions.
• Comply with DOT drug/alcohol testing requirements.
• Secure cargo and balance it within the vehicle.
• Identify and report mechanical issues before driving and perform basic maintenance.
