CDL A Local/Regional Propane Delivery Driver in Noble, IL

Join us at Barney Trucking as a CDL A Local/Regional Propane Delivery Driver in Noble, IL.

Position Overview

As an ACE Regional Driver, you will deliver gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations using a tractor-trailer. Responsibilities include loading and unloading pallets, ensuring compliance with DOT hours, and possibly participating in tank refurbishing. The truck is equipped with a sleeper cab for overnight layovers.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting hourly rate: $28
• Average hours: 40-50/week, with overtime after 40 hours
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000 ($2,500 after 90 days, $2,500 after 1 year)

Schedule & Home Time

Equipment & Responsibilities

• Variety of fleet including medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Manual transmission, cameras, load, secure, transport, and deliver propane safely

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Valid CDL A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• 6+ months CDL experience or 150,000 miles, clean record
• Propane industry experience and forklift certification preferred
• Willingness to work outdoors and lift heavy cylinders
• Must pass DOT physical, drug test, background check
• Residence within 30 miles of Noble, IL or willing to relocate
