Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Dry Van Driver for a dedicated Shafter, CA account. Earn around $1,200 per week with 0.53–0.64 CPM and up to 2,000 miles weekly. No driver loading/unloading; slip-seat operation; king pin locks provided. Night shifts, holidays, and potential overnights are required.

Routes cover Central Valley, greater LA area, and Las Vegas, with home daily when possible. Trucks are automatic day-cab and no-touch freight. Proximity to Shafter facility is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• First-seat experienced drivers and trainees considered
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Comfortable with nights, weekends and holidays
• Must lift 15–20 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to Shafter
• May be required to stay overnight during peak periods

Responsibilities

• Operate local dry van routes within California and Nevada
• No driver loading or unloading freight
• Slip-seat operation with trailer swaps
• Night shift on a 24/7 operation; holidays required
