Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver in Houston, TX. This local role moves freight to and from rail facilities, with daily home time and a static schedule. Shifts can be day or night, and there are two consecutive days off each week.

Compensation includes a listed weekly pay of $1,000, plus $15 per stop based on intake. Workdays are about 12 hours, with Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday rotations and no short-haul pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Local in-and-out rail operations.
• Transport intermodal freight and rail equipment.
• Handle drop-and-hook, live loads/unloads and preloaded freight.
• Schedules may be adjusted to meet freight and customer requirements.
• No short-haul pay is offered.
