Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Massachusetts is seeking a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver on a dedicated local route. You will deliver dry groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers within 250 miles, with daily home time and consistent starts.

The role features generous pay with strong stop-pay, electric pallet jack unloading when required, and smooth 2–3 stops per trailer on average; 6th day optional for extra earnings, and holiday work not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months truck driving experience
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to unload freight with an electric pallet jack
• Strong customer service skills
• No SAP drivers

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers within 250 miles
• 80–90% of deliveries are to NYC boroughs and Long Island
• Return products and backhauls as needed
• Driver unloads when required using an electric pallet jack
• Liftgate trailers used for NYC deliveries
• Support other local accounts as needed
