Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to deliver groceries on a dedicated account with daily home time. Earn $80,000–$110,000 per year with consistent freight and a home daily schedule.

The role covers 48- or 53-foot dry van trailers with multi-stop deliveries to Long Island and NYC, excluding Manhattan. Typical days are Tuesday through Saturday, starting around 10:00 AM, with 12–14 hour shifts. Sixth-day pay may be available; stop pay and safety training pay apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical card.
• Minimum 6 months of truck driving experience.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
• No SAP Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to Long Island and NYC area on a dedicated run.
• Complete multi-stop deliveries, typically 2 loads per day with 2–3 stops per trailer.
• Deliver to Long Island and all NYC boroughs except Manhattan.
• May pick up backhauls to the distribution center or receive a second load.
