Performance Foodservice is seeking an experienced CDL-A Delivery Driver for routes serving Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas. The role starts at $30.61 per hour base, with early morning shifts Monday through Friday, and you are home every night.

A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with eligibility exclusions noted for prior Performance Food Group employees. Responsibilities include safe operation of tractor/trailer, on-time deliveries, accurate paperwork, and excellent customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• CDL-A license.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift and move freight 10–35 lb up to 60–90 lb with location variation.
• 6–12 months of commercial driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Interacts professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Performs pre/post trip safety inspections and vehicle checks.
• Delivers and unloads orders on schedule; secures freight.
• Completes required paperwork and logs hours of service.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
