Job summary

Drivers operate a 2026 Freightliner Cascadia with an automatic transmission and a 48-foot flatbed trailer, using Motive ELD. Weekly pay averages $1,400+ (about $75,000/year).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Consistent Monday–Friday work.
• Company-provided personal protective equipment.
• Light-touch freight with customer unloading.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver steel products throughout the assigned coverage area.

About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL-A local flatbed drivers for a home-daily position hauling steel products throughout Kansas and the western half of Missouri. Drivers will operate modern equipment, make 2–6 stops per day, and receive light-touch freight handling with customer unloading.

Pay & Schedule

• Average weekly pay: $1,400+ (est. $75,000/year)
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Dispatch times between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., depending on the route
• Typical workdays are 8–12 hours
• Route type: Local
• Coverage area: Kansas and the western half of Missouri
• Freight: Steel sheet, coils, and long products
• Handling: Light touch; drivers take a loaded truck, and customers unload the freight
• Equipment: 2026 Freightliner Cascadia with automatic transmission and a 48-foot flatbed trailer
• Technology: Motive ELD and delivery app
• Weekly mileage: Approximately 1,500–1,600 miles
