Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A local flatbed driver for dedicated steel freight on local routes. You will start early, work Monday–Friday, and enjoy daily home time with weekly pay.

The job pays an average of $1,650 per week with a $1,350 weekly minimum guarantee, plus mileage and per-stop incentives. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, and prior flatbed experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Previous flatbed experience required.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and job duties.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel products on local flatbed routes.
• Operate day cab with flatbed trailer.
• tarp loads during precipitation or when protection from road spray is required.
• Maintain safe driving practices on local routes.
