Job summary

TransForce is seeking CDL-A local flatbed drivers for a home-daily position hauling steel products across Kansas and the western half of Missouri. Drivers will operate modern equipment, make 2–6 stops per day, and receive light-touch freight handling with customer unloading.

Average weekly pay is $1,400+ (est. $75,000/year). Pay rate is $0.70 per mile plus component pay. Schedule is Monday through Friday with dispatch between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., and typical workdays are 8–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant driving experience
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in the last 3 years
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver steel products throughout the assigned coverage area
• Operate a Freightliner Cascadia and 48-foot flatbed trailer
• Complete 2–6 delivery stops per day
• Use the Motive ELD and delivery application accurately
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations
• Maintain timely communication regarding routes, deliveries, and load status

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
