PAFCO is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Vernon, CA to safely transport and deliver products on scheduled routes. This role involves touch freight with pallet jack unloading and adherence to DOT regulations and safety policies. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate logs, and clear communication with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical certification
• Clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving preferred
• TWIC not required but a plus
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to load/unload cargo safely
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol screenings

Responsabilités

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes.
• Transport and deliver products and materials safely and on schedule.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo before and during transportation.
• Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and company personnel regarding deliveries.
• Report vehicle issues, delays, accidents, or other concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work environment.
• Follow DOT, state, and company safety policies.
