Job summary

Val-U Auto is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely transport general freight on local routes. You will plan routes, inspect vehicles, and ensure DOT compliance to guarantee on-time deliveries. You will handle dry van, flat bed, tipper trailer, and walking floor cargo.

Responsibilities include planning local routes, performing pre-trip inspections, maintaining safety standards, and timely delivery of freight. Prior experience and a valid DOT Medical Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Plan and navigate local routes efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to safety and DOT compliance standards during all operations.
• Transport cargo including general freight, dry van, flat bed, tipper trailer, and walking floor loads.
• Operate semi-trailer trucks and triaxle dump trucks safely.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations.
