Job summary

ABF Freight is seeking a professional truck driver to perform pickup and delivery tasks near our distribution centers in the United States. The role involves loading and unloading trailers using established dock procedures, with schedule variations by terminal location.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience, a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and be able to meet DOT medical requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Good stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using standard dock procedures.
• Shift days/hours vary by location including days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

Experience:

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training).

Certifications:

• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Good stable work record.
• Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment).
• Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.
