Job summary

CDL Drivers Choice is hiring a Class A local driver with HazMat for night shifts in Des Moines, IA. Position offers home daily, low touch dry van freight, and paid orientation at $29.15 per hour for a typical 56 hours per week.

Eligible applicants must have Hazmat, a minimum 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, and pass a drug test along with MVR/background checks. Shifts run night hours between 7-9pm start and 5-7am finish; drivers live within 45 miles of Des Moines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Tractor-Trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required to apply.
• Pass a comprehensive drug test.
• Acceptable MVR and background check.
• Must live within 45 miles of Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

• Dry Van operations with low touch freight and front-facing camera.
• Night shift only; shifts start between 7-9pm and finish around 5-7am.
• Paid orientation at same hourly rate.
