Job description

Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently, manually unload/deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with customers through positive, friendly attitudes and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing 40-60 pounds on average, up to 100 pounds repeatedly
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year customer delivery experience
• 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months Food and Beverage experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
