Job summary

Performance Food Group delivers food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes from Oak Creek, Wisconsin. As a CDL-A Driver you will be the face of the company, ensuring timely deliveries, safe handling, and accurate loading and unloading of goods.

First-year drivers can earn up to $85K+ per year after training, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus available after training completion. Competitive benefits start on Day 1, with ongoing growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test and maintain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally and promptly.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes and manages loading/unloading.
• Performs pre/post-trip safety inspections and DOT compliance.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and obtains signatures.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and maintains records of hours of service.
• Unloads products, ensures proper storage, and secures freight.
