Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver to support delivery operations. This role involves early morning shifts Mon–Fri, driving tractor trailer or straight truck to customer locations, unloading products, and ensuring on-time delivery in compliance with DOT rules.

Home every night with a potential sign-on bonus of $4,000. The position requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, a clean MVR for the past 3 years, and the ability to lift up to 60–90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6 to 12+ months commercial driving.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements and have a clean MVR for past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally and timely.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization.
• Performs pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers according to schedule.
• Obtains customer signatures and ensures proper documentation.
