Job summary

Greco and Sons, Inc. is hiring drivers to manage daily routes, load and unload at stops, and operate within a cross-dock model. You will ensure timely deliveries and perform safety checks as required by DOT policies.

Qualifications include a valid CDL-A, ability to lift heavy loads, and strong English communication. Applicants should be prepared for physical work and fluctuating schedules to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record meeting minimum standards.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports.
• Frequent lifting and moving of product up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, and stack/unstack pallets with a hand cart.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate errors/returns to management.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies.
