Job summary

Greco and Sons, Inc. seeks delivery drivers to run daily routes, loading and unloading goods at customer sites in a cross-dock environment.

You will use hand trucks and perform routinized loading, unloading, and inspections at the loading dock and at stops. Responsibilities include timely route execution, verification of deliveries with customers, and handling discrepancies while maintaining professional conduct.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment screening.
• Valid Class A CDL with driving record meeting minimum standard.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Lifts up to 100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Lift, push, or move product weighing 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly; stack pallets with reach.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; contact management for invoice discrepancies; communicate errors/returns.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies.
