Job summary

Greco and Sons, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes with frequent stops, loading packages onto hand carts and unloading at each stop as directed by the Transportation Department Manager.

The role involves cross-dock operations, possible manual loading assistance, and ensuring timely deliveries. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently.
• Must be able to lift 40–60 lb and up to 100 lb repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1–75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; stack and unstack pallets and hand cart.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures; communicate errors/returns.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handles customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
