Job summary

C.L. England is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver for the Walmart lane, delivering no-touch freight across Southern California. You will be home daily, with 2 consecutive days off weekly, and typically handle 2–3 stops per run with backhaul to the DC.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and at least 3 months of CDL-A experience. Trucks are new with automatics; earn mileage, stop, detention pay and safety bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver no-touch freight on Walmart lane.
• Be home daily with typical 2 consecutive days off per week.
• Average 2-3 stops per trip; backhaul to DC.
• Vehicles are new and well maintained with automatic transmissions.
• Departures from DC typically between 1500 and 2100.
• Pay includes mileage, stop, and detention pay; bonus for safe and on-time performance.

Be home daily as a CDL-A Local Driver for C.R. England, the premier long-haul refrigerated carrier in the country. Drivers on this dedicated Walmart lane deliver all no-touch freight from Shafter to locations throughout Southern California. Be home daily while earning a great career.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Average 2-3 stops, with backhaul back into the DC

Majority of loads depart the DC between 1500 to 2100

Home Time: Home Daily with typically 2 consecutive days off per week

Driver requirements:
