Job summary

C.R. England is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver for a Walmart lane in Southern California. You will be home daily with no-touch freight and mostly 2–3 stops with backhaul returning to the distribution center.

Requires a valid CDL-A and 3+ months of experience. This lane is not suitable for students or trainees; trucks are well maintained and routes depart in late afternoon to evening.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of current CDL-A driving experience
• No trainees on this lane

Responsibilities

• Drive local Walmart lane with no-touch freight.
• Be home daily on this dedicated route.
• Average 2–3 stops with backhaul to the DC.
• Loads depart the DC typically between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Be home daily as a CDL-A Local Driver for C.R. England, the premier long-haul refrigerated carrier in the country. Drivers on this dedicated Walmart lane deliver all no-touch freight from Shafter to locations throughout Southern California. Be home daily while earning a great career.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Average 2-3 stops, with backhaul back into the DC

Majority of loads depart the DC between 1500 to 2100

Home Time: Home Daily with typically 2 consecutive days off per week

Driver requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 Years of age or older
• 3+ months of current CDL-A driving experience
