Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver in the Toledo area offering daily home time, no-touch freight, and steady Sunday-Thursday work. You will move containers between rail yards and customer locations across Toledo and Columbus.

Benefits include weekly pay between $1,100 and $1,400 plus per load pay. This local, home-daily role features consistent freight and a reliable schedule with rail chassis equipment and mixed drop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preloaded

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for driving and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move containers between rail yards and customer locations.
• Deliver containers to customer locations.
• No-touch freight.
• Handle rail chassis equipment.
• Operate a mix of drop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preloaded freight.

Pay Details

• $1,100-$1,400 weekly pay
• $40 per revenue load
• Additional $40 pay as applicable
• Paid weekly

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
