Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to operate in the Toledo area, moving containers between rail yards and customer locations. You will enjoy daily home time, no-touch freight, and a steady Sunday-Thursday schedule with consistent freight.

Pay includes $1,100–$1,400 weekly, plus $40 per revenue load and an additional $40 as applicable, paid weekly. Home daily and locally focused routes with rail yard pickups are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance required.
• Read and speak English sufficiently for driving and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move containers between rail yards and customer locations.
• Deliver containers to customer locations.
• Pick up loaded containers from customers and return to rail yards.
• Operate rail chassis equipment as needed.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
