Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Indianapolis seeks a professional Class A CDL driver to safely transport goods from the warehouse to customer locations, following routes and invoices.

This role includes linehaul routes 2 to 3 days, adherence to safety, DOT logs, and maintaining vehicle and product integrity. Overnight shifts and weekends may apply to meet customer needs.

You will build strong customer relationships and communicate effectively with management about route changes and loading issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product to customer locations on schedule.
• Completes DOT logs and inspection reports accurately.
• Ensures food safety protocols and proper temperatures are maintained.
• Notes route, loading issues and communicates with management.
• Operates tractor-trailer and hand cart; maintains equipment.
• Maintains professional relationships through courteous service with customers.
