Job summary

Sysco is seeking a tractor-trailer driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, following company standards and customer invoices. The role mainly runs daytime with some night driving and requires routes that go out of state for 2–3 days at a time.

The driver will load/unload, complete required logs, and maintain safety protocols and accurate paperwork. Responsibilities include meeting delivery schedules, communicating with customers, and adhering to DOT

Qualifications

• Must meet DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines.
• Ability to drive long distances under varying conditions.
• Excellent communications with customers to ensure service quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations as per route and delivery specs.
• Accurately complete DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports and bill of ladings.
• Maintain safety protocols for proper temperatures and handling of products.
• Communicate deviations to route or loading issues to management.
• Operate equipment including tractor-trailer units and pallet handling gear.
