Job summary

Schneider is seeking Intermodal Truck Drivers to haul freight containers with a focus on reliability and experience. You will enjoy daily home time while earning an average weekly pay of $1,170 to $1,430.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 3 months' experience. Other bonuses such as a sign-on bonus of $6,000 will be paid in your first year.

Qualifications

• Must live within 40 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within 75 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Bonus Potential

• Hourly pay and load pay.
• Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
• $6,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 40 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
